Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This position will provide administrative support to various departments within the company. The position will require heavy participation and focus on payroll processing and timekeeping amongst other administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties, including answering phone calls and responding to emails
- Maintain and organize electronic files
- Assist with data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information
- Provide customer and employee support, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects and assignments
Requirements:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Experience with payroll processes and verifying time
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
