Marketing and Operations Manager for Commercial Truck Sales

TCI is looking for a Marketing and Operations Manager for our commercial truck sales. Our fleet consists of new and pre-owned trucks. As the Sales Associate, your primary responsibilities will be to manage our online sales listings and advertising campaigns.

Proficient communication and project management skills. Meets deadlines and completes assigned task timely. Leads the truck sales department in ensuring the equipment for sale is advertised on various web sites, social media, email campaigns and that search optimization is considered for maximum visibility and online exposure.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Travel requirement 10-20%. (based in S. California)
  • Start times, work hours and workdays are determined based on the strict need of the completion of company projects and account needs but generally 8-5 M-F and on call as needed.
  • Manage 4 main sales locations (Commerce, CA, Fontana, CA, Stockton, CA, Phoenix, AZ) and sales representatives based at those locations as well as managing any inventory remotely located at other TCI locations across the country.
  • Review and ensure sales goals are met overall and at the salesperson level each quarter.
  • Assist in finance options (internal and external).
  • Must collaborate with the Rental & Lease, Dedicated and Finance departments in ensuring collaboration in obtaining inventory and ensuring inventory is prepped and ready for sale.
  • Must be proficient in e-commerce and online sales and attract internet traffic to the TCI site as well as other areas that market company equipment online.
  • Ensure all websites are updated both daily and weekly and ensure information posted is accurate and in accordance with our sales goals.
  • Assist in pricing vehicles and approving pricing when low prices are needed.
  • Manage monthly advertising spend and ensure ad dollars are spent in the most effective way to drive sales at market and retail pricing.
  • Approve needed repairs while working with the TCI service team management to ensure appropriate and reasonable repairs are approved.
  • Regular worksite attendance is an essential function of the job and is necessary for a variety of reasons including but not limited to teamwork, face-to-face interaction with clients, and working with items or equipment that are at the place of business.


Key Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of online marketing, e-commerce and running a sales department.
  • Proven Data Analytics skillset.
  • Excellent business acumen and experience in business strategy development and execution
  • Strong administration, organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Compensation and Schedule:

  • Starting Compensation $75,000- $100,000 (base commission)
