Position: Inside Sales/ Customer Service

Position Summary: TCI has been an industry leader manufacturing powder coating for over 30 years with a strong commitment to our people, products, and servicing our customers. We are looking for an experienced Inside Sales/CSR that will manage large amounts of incoming calls, generate sales leads, and identify and access customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction. Primarily responsible for providing effective customer service for all customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs. Responsible for receiving, investigating, and responding to all customers inquiries regarding shipments, products, and complaints. The CSR will build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Interface with customer supply chain portals
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers
  • Communicate with field sales and service teams to manage stock programs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong inside sales/customer service skills (5 years preferred)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • High school diploma/GED required
