Employee Benefits Claim Specialist

TCIG Pacific Insurance Services is a boutique employee benefits insurance agency based in Westlake Village, California. We help small and mid-market employers in California and across the country by providing expert advice, robust administrative support, and innovative solutions to take the work out of managing the benefits package. With TCIG, employers are not in the benefits business – that’s our job.

To support our continued growth, we are looking for an Employee Benefits Claims Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for supporting our Director of ClaimsAssist as we help our clients with claims questions, claims reviews, and planning for upcoming procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience working with claims as an employee benefits account manager, as a medical billing specialist, or in the claims department of a carrier.

Must Have:

· Excellent attention to detail

· Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

· Strong written and verbal language skills

· Patience and compassion when working with clients

· Exceptional teamwork, including the ability to partner and coordinate with our account managers and our carrier contacts

Helpful, but not required:

· Spanish language skills

· Bachelor’s degree or higher

· Experience with benefits administration platforms, such as Ease and Employee Navigator

Compensation is expected to be between $50,000 and $70,000 per year, depending on experience and skill set. You are welcome to submit salary requirements with your resume.
