What are the responsibilities and job description for the Consultant SAP position at TCS?
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to manage ABAP build activities in the SAP process areas of RTR, PTP,SRM, ARIBA, GRC.
- Provide technical design solutions for the complex requirements specified in Functional Specifications or Business Requirement Documents .
- Coordinate with Functional consultants to provide technical inputs during Requirement gathering or initial design phases of the project .
- Technical Lead representation in the Solution and Design Review Board meetings .
- Estimate technical efforts and plan build timelines for new change or project to meet deployment deadlines .
- Allocate and supervise work of assigned team to ensure it meets requirement needs and priorities.
- Build code design and work extensively on Data dictionary objects, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, SmartForms ,Adobeforms, Workflow , LSMW, BDC, Dialog programming, BAPI, FM, BADI in S/4 HANA environment .
- Provide technical support during Functional testing and User Testing phases of the project .
- Analyze and troubleshoot technical defects using advanced ABAP debugging skills .
- Performance tuning and optimization of expensive code query using tools SQL Trace, Performance Analysis and Runtime Analysis .
- Coordinate with SAP Basis team for deployment of code changes to Quality and Production environments .
- Manage technical activities during Production Deployment in Project Cutover.
