QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Networking preferred.
- At least two years of on-the-job IT experience is preferred.
- Experience working with a website CMS
SKILLS
- Ability to effectively communicate with others with verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other departments.
- Ability to maintain a friendly, helpful, and courteous attitude when working with co-workers and Network contacts.
- Ability to install and configure Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work with Antivirus solutions - installation and troubleshooting.
- Ability to comply with the ministry’s policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Web & Video Platform Duties
- Uploading and posting video-on-demand content.
- Broadcasting schedule updates and requested daily video assets.
- Creating meta tags for video content.
- Email correspondence utilizing Constant Contacts.
- Updating e-store items.
- Monitoring apps and live video streams.
- Assist with SharePoint updates.
- Assist with gathering images and website content.
- Assist with preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly analytics for web, video platforms, and e-store.
IT General Duties
- Responsible for providing Tier 1 help desk support for employees submitting service requests via email or phone support.
- Responsible for following up on outstanding requests and ensuring timely resolutions of issues.
- Responsible for directing any unresolved issues to the next level of support.
- Responsible for performing preventative maintenance checks on computers and related equipment
- Responsible for any other duties assigned by the VP of IT.
Salary : $42,500 - $53,900
