SUMMARY
To fulfill the requirements of the company's shipping department, maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment, and follow company's policies, regulations and operating procedures
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Pick, check, and pack orders per procedure
- Minor Shipping (USPS First Class some Priority)
- Maintain proper egress to keep a clean and safe work environment
- Down stocking aisles
- Break down all cardboard and place in the proper bins

Receive delivered products
- Checking to make sure all the product is in date and quantities match the purchase order
- Keep products organized and stocked
- Monitor stock and notify the warehouse manager of low quantities
- Prepare boxes for next day’s work
- Regular inventory counts as assigned
- Return to stock all unused products
- Sweep and mop warehouse as needed
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Other duties as assigned

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Fork lift safety training certificate to operate forklift.
