The Driving Force Inc.’s (TDFI) US division TDF Fleet is currently hiring an Account Manager. The Account Manager is responsible for applying sales techniques and strategies to develop relationships and new business by modeling TDF Group’s core values while maintaining a mindset of growth and service. To build and develop a customer portfolio including new, repeat, and referral business.

Customer Service and Satisfaction
  • Learning deeply about customer preferences and needs and recording this information in TDF’s CRM program.
  • Coordinate with US locations for meeting customer rentals, leasing, sales, and fleet management needs.
  • Work with customers to complete credit applications accurately and efficiently
  • Resolving any customer issues fully and in a timely way
  • Answering incoming phone calls and emails in a timely manner
  • Answering general inquiries from customers and vendors
  • Assisting in coordinating between the customer requirements and the fleet, lease, and remarketing departments to ensure conditions and deadlines are met and service is provided.
  • Working with direct manager regarding any opportunities and customer issues that may arise.
  • Assisting Corporate Customer Specialists as required and provide customer service as required.
  • Researching potential business opportunities for TDF Fleet
  • Understanding the up-to-date vehicles and for potential customer requirements
Workflow
  • Primary development and prospecting of new commercial business in face-to-face meetings and at networking events
  • Cold calling and emailing prospective customers.
  • Providing the VP of Business Development information on new prospects and customers in assigned region.
  • Improving profitability by working with marketing and customer performance data to select appropriate markets and targets.
  • Continuously assess and mitigate areas of risk to the branch and company overall by reporting issues and communicating company policies, quality standards, and health and safety expectations to employees and vendors
  • Following regional leads provided and working with the National Business Development team on cross-border opportunities.
  • Locate vehicles and equipment, manage, and coordinate all rig ups.
  • Familiarity with current vehicles, equipment, and market trends
  • Participating in training opportunities and team building activities
Qualifications
  • High school or equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience in either automotive, equipment sales / leasing or industrial sales preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Driver’s Abstract acceptable to TDF Group’s Driver and Vehicle Safety Program (in order to drive company vehicles)
  • Due to fiduciary responsibility, pre-hire Criminal Security Clearance and Credit Check is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High energy and passion for meeting new people in face-to-face situations and for selling value to customers.
  • Must have impeccable ethics.
