Job Description
This position, located at Ellsworth AFB, SD, will be the primary person responsible for operating and maintaining the various ground support systems, which include the Live Monitor system, the communication suites and the Individual Combat Aircrew Debriefing System (ICADS). The duties and requirements of this position include but are not limited to:
- Set up, maintain, and run Air Combat Training Systems including on-range and in-house networks as well as Integrated Combat Aircrew Debriefing Systems (ICADS) and other key infrastructure as required to include new and/or upgraded hardware & software
- Respond to notification of malfunctioning systems, including applicable Live Monitor functions; troubleshoot and repair to restore the Ground Subsystems to full functionality
- Ensure scheduled Ground Subsystems are fully functional
- Prepare data for and assist with debriefings as scheduled and requested by the customer
- Ensure debriefing forms are received and track aircrew feedback
- Schedule and perform periodic, preventive, and corrective maintenance on all assigned equipment to including ancillary equipment
- Perform system installation, preparation for use and reshipment
- Identify and report correction/improvement to technical data
- Identify and report product/material quality deficiencies
- Conduct inventories and maintain accountability records for Ground Subsystems, including ancillary and support equipment
- Comply with inspection requirements and implement approved configuration changes
- Report/track equipment status as well as maintenance data collection/job documentation
- Ensure conformance with all TSD Quality and Safety Standards
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements
- Requires three (3) years of experience in operating computers and computer peripheral equipment. College education with specialization in computer science may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis, up to a maximum of two years
- Accredited IAT I (A ) in both hardware and software, is required or must be obtained in the first six months of employment
- Accredited IAT II (Network ) or IAT III (Security ) is highly desired
Additional Requirements
- US Citizen // Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one is required
- Proof of the Covid-19 vaccination is required; except where an employee is legally entitled to an accommodation

- Ability to speak, read, and write English
