Job Overview
TE Connectivity is seeking a candidate for a state approved Apprentice Mold Maker program. The selected candidate will need to show mechanical aptitude but will receive training in all necessary mold making principles through this 4 year program. This position is located at our Pegg Road facility.
Responsibilities
- Candidate will participate in a four-year, 8,000-hour state approved apprenticeship program that consists of on-the-job training as well as related studies.
- Apprentice will apply learned knowledge of mold design and construction to machining, layout, assembly and conditioning procedures to complete tasks.
- Will be responsible for mold assembly / disassembly, PM, change over, troubleshooting, and tool making related to molds and mold tooling.
- Additional details about the apprenticeship program and our facility will be provided during an orientation meeting to be communicated after indicating interest in the position.
- Hard working and self-motivation is a must.
- Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with co-workers on other shifts.
- Print reading, machine shop skills and demonstration of mechanical aptitude are a plus

Compensation
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $$36,480-$45,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary Incentive(s) Benefits
- A comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), disability, life insurance, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off and voluntary benefits.
Salary : $36,480 - $45,600
