What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weightlifting Staff position at Teach Iowa?
Due to development of the strength and conditioning program Pleasantville CSD is seeking to create a committee of Weightlifting Staff for the 2023-24 school year. Responsibilities will include:
- Monthly meetings to collaborate with other weightlifting staff
- Assist with leading and supervising weight room sessions
- Collaborate with head HS and JH coaches throughout the year
- Assist with social media promotion, athlete attendance, data management, and programming
These will be paid positions in accordance with the Pleasantville CSD extra-curricular salary schedule. Prior experience with high school strength and conditioning or a certification in strength and conditioning is preferred. Applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, a coaching authorization.
