Position Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor - 3rd Shift (10PM to 6:30AM, with overtime availability needed) will lead warehouse team and coordinate activities between two distribution centers. This role will work to improve throughput, daily output benchmarks, transportation and shipping cost. Upholding company philosophy, direction and development of new leaders that align with core values. This position will focus on exceptional internal/external customer service levels while improving cost efficiency and quality of work while prioritizing demands to meet customer deliverables.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
- Supervise, lead, and motivate a staff of 10-15 warehouse employees
- Manage daily warehouse operations including replenishment, returns, receiving, light assembly, pick, pack, shipping and transportation
- Responsible for identifying, researching and resolving operational issues
- Accountable for the timely processing and shipment of all customer orders
- Assist in developing & carrying out department’s goals and objectives
- Continuous training and development of personnel promoting growth and accountability
- Assist in completion of cycle count program
- Perform inventory control functions to ensure accuracy of warehouse locations
- Monitor SKU velocity and make recommendations for inventory obsolesce
- Forecast daily/weekly/monthly resource requirements
- Responsible for providing on–the–job training for warehouse employees and temporary staff
- Assist in planning and modifying warehouse layout and other storage location setup
- Provide analytical support for warehouse operations and run daily warehouse output reports
- Monitor and maintain a safe and clean work environment using 5s methodology
- Open and close warehouse facilities as needed
- Assist Production capacity ensuring customer deliverable deadlines
- Personally comply with, and enforce all company, policies, procedures, rules and requirements

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following education, work history, knowledge and skills.
- Experience: 5 years in warehouse operations. Experience in a large company with well-established processes and system is a must. Prior experience in implementing a warehouse automation system is important.
- Knowledge and skills: Familiar with bar-coding, EDI, proof of delivery procedures. Experience and knowledge of setting up and running an assembly operation is a strong plus. Labor forecasting and flexing work is important. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Frequent daily use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Sit for extended periods of time; including at a computer.
- Repetitive hand and wrist movements for frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.
- Occasional travel to out of state facility.
- Frequent short distance travel between 2 local facilities.
Work Conditions:
