EPP Field Supervisor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
• Teaching experience (minimum of 5 years)
• Managing self-directed projects
• Evaluating/documenting/providing feedback on teacher performance and effectiveness
• Current knowledge of curriculum, instruction and assessment practices
• Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience working with beginning teachers
• Ability to manage technology to complete coaching

Responsibilities

• Primary Purpose: Expected to work remotely. Work independently under the supervision of the Certification Officer for TeacherBuilder.com
• Observe, monitor performance and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching effectiveness to first year educators.
• Serve as a representative of the TeacherBuilder.com EPP - displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the educational community and the public
• Conduct (3) 45 minute on-site formal observations to first year interns; Conduct an individualized pre-conference and post-conference
• Provide timely written feedback to intern, campus administrator and Certification Officer
• Develop knowledge and skills of first year teachers
• Mentor and coach first year teachers in the use of effective educational practices, materials, and services to develop instructional knowledge and skills specific to teaching assignments
• Remain knowledgeable in current curriculum and instruction issues, educational trends and integration of technology in instruction for beginning teachers
• Communicates effectively (verbal and written)
• Follows policies and procedures
• Interprets data
• Frequent travel

Benefits

• Salary: $150 per visit, three (3) total visits per candidate.

Pay: $125.00 - $150.00 per day
