  • Represent the College Registrar in enrollment services at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology
  • Help with registration & records processing
  • Answer questions related to college courses and enrollment, adding/dropping classes in student schedules, and helping people understand college policies and course information in the academic catalogs
  • Work in a team setting with other Registrar office staff on graduation processing, diploma orders, commencement work, and communication between departments
  • Evaluate transcripts, including advanced placement reviews
  • Attend training or courses provided by the Registrar to continue developing your knowledge and abilities to provide comprehensive service
  • Report federal, state, and institutional data and ensure all data is accurate
  • Work with a welcoming crew that is team-oriented and driven to fulfill the college's core values: integrity, diversity, respect, teamwork, life-long learning, and accountability

Our Ideal Assistant Registrar:

  • Experienced: 3 years of registration experience in a Higher Education setting. A combination of experience and education is needed; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Previous experience with Student Information System Software is required; experience with Ellucian Colleague is highly preferred. Proficiency with Office 365 is required.
  • Team Player: Mission-driven, treats teammates and students with care & respect
  • Self-Starter: Fully engaged in the job, enjoys being challenged and learning new skills. Hardworking & motivated; thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical: A creative thinker who can operate within higher education guidelines and regulations.
  • Great Communicator: Must be able to communicate effectively & clearly with students, staff, and faculty in person, on the phone, and via email.
