Diagnose & repair 2-cycle gas and diesel engines in outdoor power equipment, including tractors & zero turn mowers- Work flexible full-time schedule, from 7 AM to 5 PM, with optional overtime
- Receive paid on-the-job and vendor training to repair our equipment brands including Kubota, Exmark, Scag, Cub Cadet, & Echo
- Use diagnostic software to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Communicate with the service writer about repairs needed so that customers are informed of any additional costs
- Research and order any parts that are not kept in inventory
- Test drive equipment to ensure all repairs were successfully completed

Stoltzfus Farm Service is a trusted, family-owned, faith-based business since 1967, all about "neighbors serving neighbors." We are one of the area's largest stocking dealers for new & used outdoor power equipment. We are looking for a Service Technician who will perform basic maintenance and advanced repairs on equipment – tractors, zero-turn mowers, etc. We encourage you to apply for this position if you have a background in automotive, diesel, or small engine repairs.
Our Ideal Service Technician:
- Experience: A trade school graduate OR someone with 2 years of automotive, diesel, or small engine repair experience on various brands, like Kubota, Exmark, Scag, Cub Cadet, & Echo.
- Growth-Minded: Excited to develop your knowledge & experience. Able to use what you learn from each repair to continue building your skill set.
- Thorough: Able to systematically assess the equipment to identify & determine the cause of a needed repair. Knowledge of reading wiring diagrams and resolving complex electrical issues.
- Computer Savvy: Must possess basic computer proficiency to run diagnostics and order parts. Able to learn & use diagnostic software.
- Efficient: Our time is billed to clients. Must be mindful of how much time is invested in a repair.
- Active: Able to lift 75 pounds repeatedly, use hand tools, repair and operate vehicles & equipment.
- Equipped: Need your own basic tools. Any specialized tools are provided.
