We're a mid-sized General Contractor seeking an Assistant Commercial Construction Superintendent. Your initial assignment will be assisting our project management team in the ground-up construction of a tilt-up concrete office building with complete site package.
As an Assistant Superintendent, you'll report to senior level field management and help to oversee the day-to-day construction activities on-site, from initial planning to final walkthrough. Your keen eye for detail and proactive problem-solving skills will ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence.
Job Responsibilities Include:
* Daily Coordination with subcontractors, architects, and engineers
* Day-to-day tracking of upcoming project milestones and on-going construction activities
* Enforcing safety protocols
* Quality control activities to ensure that all work complies with the specifications and quality expectations
* Management of submittals, RFI's, and potential change orders
Qualifications:
* At least two years experience in commercial construction
* Strong leadership and communications skills
* Experience utilizing construction management software and technology to track project deliverables
* Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
* Ability to work independently without the need for daily oversight
Compensation:
This is a full-time position with an initial project schedule of at least two years, and the opportunity to complete future projects on an on-going basis. Qualified applicants should expect to receive annual compensation of $75,000 - $90,000 based on experience and qualifications.
