Senior Accountant General Summary The Senior Accountant is responsible for various related functions including journal entries, accounting processes, account reconciliations, reports, analysis and presentations. Analyze and monitor financial data to prepare and present to management for review. Research and analyze financial information necessary to support internal and external audit activity. Create and maintain monthly, quarterly and annual reports for multiple branch locations according to assigned function. Manage inventory discrepancies and inventory adjustments. Create monthly lead schedules of inventory activity. Research and reconcile inventory related accounts monthly. Research and reconcile accounts monthly to manage discrepancies and adjustments. Provide and support appropriate levels of reviews and oversight for activities performed by employees. Ensure compliance with all system SOX controls. Conduct foreign currency translation. Support internal customers in the field with questions related to financial data. Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or applicant preferred Minimum three (3) to five (5) years’ of experience in public accounting and/or at a publicly traded enterprise Advanced MS Excel skills required i.e. VLookups, Pivot Tables, etc. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP theory and practice Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple competing tasks Ability to clearly communicate in writing and orally High attention to detail and level of accuracy Experience using MS Dynamics/AX and OneStream a plus Work Conditions Position is located at the corporate office Work is conducted in a semi-private office/cubicle setting Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
