We are seeking a highly skilled, eager to learn, outgoing, fun-loving, dedicated Dental Assistant to join our amazing 5-star google reviewed dental team! The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing high quality oral healthcare to patients in our fast paced, high-tech private practice. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about dentistry and patient care in the private practice setting.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and dental procedures

- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs

- Take digital dental X-rays and 3-D CBCTs

- Provide patients with post-operative instructions following dental work

- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment and operatories

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices

Skills:

Proficiency in X-Ray procedures

- Experience in dental assisting

- Knowledge of CEREC/Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software is a plus

- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations

- Ability to take vital signs accurately

- Understanding of medical imaging techniques

- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist is advantageous

- Knowledge of aseptic techniques for infection control

- Competence in managing medical records

- Understanding of dental anatomy

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• No nights
