Opportunity Overview:
Our client, a multinational technology corporation, needs a Financial Analyst 1 to join their financial team and work to support the organization’s commitments to ensuring top-quality financial systems and financial process execution. As a detail-oriented data analyst, your advanced Excel and Power BI skills will be critical to successfully drive and execute the revenue allocation process and perform financial analysis. With your commitment to accuracy and high-quality work and meticulous attention to detail, you’re ready to hit the ground running.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Facilitate collaboration and seamless execution of the revenue allocation program deliverables and support the Finance ROB activities
- Develop financial modeling and reporting, collaborate with partners, and conduct projects, including Office operating return model, inventory tracker, and aggregate sales performance dashboard
- Perform thorough and detailed analysis of critical reports to identify reporting inconsistencies and errors and work to resolve issues
- Run audits to analyze data integrity between systems and follow up on findings to resolve issues
- Work with cross-functional teams to automate and improve budget and forecasting processes, forecasting tools and standardized reporting
- Create a Power BI data model for new product categories and geography and monitor actual variances to budget and forecasts
- Collaborate with partners to conduct analysis of present and future financial performance of various products, segments, or other businesses
- Provide financial data insights, KPI, and financial metrics to leadership and partners that support the decision-making process by illustrating sales/cost trends and competitor benchmarks with clear visualizations and concise commentary
- Provide effective cross-functionally communication; update process documentation, share automation methods, and communicate recurring reports for business consumption
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field
- 2 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis with experience in BI reporting
- Proven advanced Excel skills and Power BI skills
- Prior project management experience and strong leadership skills are a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communications
Soft Skills:
- Able to manage multiple work streams and prioritize as needed
- Strong partnering capabilities, collaborative and inclusive when working with others
- Comfortable handling ambiguity and uncertainty in a business that evolves at a fast pace
- Thorough and detailed oriented
Job Type: Contract/Full-time (W-2)
