Ironworker
Job Posting for Ironworker at TEC Construction
Capable of safely performing all duties associated with structural steel construction and metal building erection.
-Rigging, connecting, stick welding (7018), torch cutting, layout and fabrication, floor and roof deck installation; structural reinforcing and shoring of existing structures
-Must be familiar with working at heights and with cranes / forklifts
-Safety certs, equipment operator certs, osha card and welding certs a plus, but can be obtained thru employment with TEC
Most jobs are loacted in Northern NJ. Some projects are loacted in Central NJ / Shore area. Driver liscense necessary.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Experience level:
- 2 years
Shift:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work setting:
- Construction site
- Outdoor work
Experience:
- Welding: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- New Jersey: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Work Location: On the road
