What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at TEC Group INC?
- Maintain all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Process semi-monthly payroll and remit 401(k) contributions on a timely basis.
- Process all accounts payables, deposits, receivables, and month end closing entries into QuickBooks.
- Monitors cash balances to ensure sufficient funds in the Operating back account.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts.
- Prepare monthly invoices/claims to the Counties of San Diego and Imperial.
- Submit quarterly reports to the State Bar.
- Maintain internal control, safeguard receipt of revenue and fixed assets.
- Prepare financial reports in an accurate and timely manner to senior staff
