What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at TEC Group INC?
TEC Group has partnered with our client in the Fountain Valley area to assist them in finding an experienced Accounting Clerk to join their fast-paced team! This individual will be responsible for managing and assisting with Accounts Receivable functions including billing, collections and posting, journal entry preparations, and data analysis.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
· Verifying transactions, reviewing terms of service, and compiling invoices
· Documenting and creating various reports
· Uploading invoices to online portals and sending via email and UPS
· Issuing credit memos and setting up payment terms
· Communicating with customers to resolve complex billing issues and answer questions as needed
· Posting payments to GL and managing cash applications process
· Conduct audits as needed or required
· Handling and processing high volume invoices
· Assist with bank reconciliation and balancing
· Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
· Responsible for posting receivable charges and payments to the correct ledger accounts
· Update sales budgets as needed
· Prepare and book journal entries for month end close
Skills & Requirements:
· 2 years minimum experience in Accounting
· Minimum 1 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration required
· Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
