Pay Rate: $30 - $40 per hour based on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday Dayshift

Required: Bilingual with Spanish and English

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of EHS principles and the ability to develop and implement effective safety programs.

Duties:
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a safe work environment
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, training sessions, and other relevant data
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and ensure readiness for potential emergencies
- Stay up-to-date with changes in EHS regulations and industry best practices
- Provide guidance and support to employees on EHS-related matters
- Conduct training sessions on various safety topics, including CPR and first aid
- Fabricate safety signs, labels, and other materials as needed

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers compensation laws, and EPA requirements
- Experience conducting root cause analysis investigations
- Excellent report writing skills
- Bilingual with Spanish is required
