Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience is also considered.
Experience:
Substantial experience in web-based application development, particularly with ESRI WebApps and ArcGIS Enterprise.
Proficiency with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Portal management, and ArcGIS Online.
Experience in SQL Server and Geodatabase management.
Familiarity with ArcGIS for Desktop, Extensions, ArcGIS Pro, and related tools.
Experience in developing and maintaining documentation, including metadata.
Knowledge of MERN stack (Mongo, Express, React, Node.js), .Net Core, Entity Framework, SQL Server, or Angular.
Expertise in developing Cloud solutions or web-based ArcGIS APIs.
Experience with GIS data management, including governance practices and metadata maintenance.
Familiarity with SDE Geodatabase design and management.
Primary Job Duties:
Assisting with GIS System of Engagement (SoE) development and deployment of cloud solutions.
Supporting AASHTOWare systems maintenance and upgrades.
Optimizing existing processes, applications, and systems to meet enterprise requirements.
Gathering business requirements and performing database and data analysis.
Providing technical GIS support to internal and external clients.
Supporting installation, development, and management of ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise Environments.
Job Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Portal management.
Proficiency in GIS Data Management, including metadata maintenance.
Excellent customer interaction skills to identify and provide GIS solutions.
Ability to install and configure Esri software suite.
Knowledge of MERN stack is desirable.
Coordination with other departments for application development and deployment.
Troubleshooting web application issues and providing solutions.
Experience in technology and functional upgrades of GIS software and web applications.
Migration of existing applications to GIS Enterprise platform.
Regular health checks on Portal content and web mapping sites.
