NOW OFFERING A SIGN ON BONUS FOR FULL TIME EMPLOYEES. Employees hired on 3/18/2024 or after are eligible for a $1500.00 sign on bonus. Bonus will be paid out in three installments:$500 - 30 days of employment $500 - 60 days of employment $500 - 90 days of employment. This offer expires on 5/15/2024.
PURPOSE:
The Personal Care Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of services between clients and caregivers, for the implementation of schedules, adequate staffing and continuity of care to best meet the needs of the clients. The Coordinator reports directly to: Director of Personal Care and/or Administrator
Responsibilities
01. Schedule appropriate disciplines for hours of service on new clients and open hours/shifts on existing cases. Provide consistency in caregiver scheduling with clients.
02. Maintain computer schedules and ensure timely data entry for clients and caregivers.
03. Contact clients and caregivers regarding day-to-day scheduling changes.
04. Reconcile the schedule with Personal Care Attendants Service Delivery Records, making appropriate corrections to the system to facilitate accurate processing for payroll and billing
05. Provide regular updates to the Director of Personal Care and/or Administrator on any open shifts after an exhaustive effort has been made to staff the shifts.
06. Provide timely reporting to Director of Personal Care and/or Administrator on caregiver supply and demand.
07. Communicate and reinforce Tech Medical’s policies and procedures.
08. Communicate and refer appropriate matters to the Director of Personal Care and/or Administrator for direction.
09. Perform general office duties including but not limited to word processing, filing, reception and telephone services.
10. Maintain positive relationships with all clients and their families, prospective clients, caregivers, prospective employees, fellow team members and referral sources.
11. Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to employees, clients, clients families and
Tech Medical.
12. Conduct Supervisory visits to ensure Personal Care Attendants are completing tasks and clients are 100% satisfied.
13. Demonstrate dependability and reliability.
14. Maintain professionalism, provides support and encouragement to the caregiver team.
15. Rotate on-call weekly as directed. Keep on-call materials current with client information, instructions and directions, current roster of care and roster of active direct care staff.
16. Respond within 30 minutes to voicemails and texts when on-call.
17. Perform other functions as deemed appropriate by the management team.
18. Other duties as assigned by Personal Care Director and/or Administrator
Equipment Operation
1. Requires the ability to utilize a PC, calculator, multi-line telephone, and other office related equipment.
Company Information
1. Has access to all client and personnel records, which can be discussed with all management staff, including the Board of Directors as well as outside government agencies. Also, can access company financial records.
Qualifications
01. At least one year experience working as Personal Care Attendant or licensed as a Nurse Aide in Kentucky.
02. Must obtain Ohio Nurse Aide certification within 90 days of employment if already certified in Kentucky.
03. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) applications, scheduling systems and other health care industry related software.
04. Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently and diplomatically orally and in writing.
05. Ability to remain flexible, resilient, calm and maintain a sense of humor; and present a well-groomed professional image.
06. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, delegate and accurately follow through in work activities with time constraints and interruptions to meet deadlines, as well as, work independently with a minimum amount of direction and/or supervision.
07. Ability to generate goodwill for the Agency with staff, clients, their family members and referral sources.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to client service excellence.
08. Must meet initial and on-going educational requirements as stipulated by local, state, and federal guidelines.
