Supply Chain Distribution Manager

Location: Yonkers, NY

Duration: 6 Months



Will be required on site 5x weekly, need to have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and parking will be provided

Have to report to 2 other locations in Yonkers, as they will be managing people onsite.



Candidate will need to show documentation of the following before starting:

Covid 19 Vaccination

MMR

Hep B Surface Antibody

Hep B Surface Antigen

Hep C Antibody titter

Negative PPD or QuantiFERON within past 12 months



Department: Supply Chain Distribution- will be managing 7-8 individuals, along with a supervisor. Manages supply chains of hospitals and manage the procurement distribution & supply chain.



Responsibilities

manage team of 8, including a supervisor

guide supervisor with distribution/supply chain

schedule meetings, manage a union staff, and supervise distribution of daily operations.

coordinate freight

equipment handling - manual pallet jack

break down pallets and unload equipment with team.



Skills

5 years of Supply Chain/Distribution experience

Must have prior management experience, preferred if candidate has experience managing a team of union employees.

Someone analytical and can think outside of the box.

someone willing to work in the trenches with the team (break down pallets and be on the floor with the team to assist with inventory)
