Job Title: Scientist, Computational Biology
Location: Summit, NJ. Would also consider candidates for the Lawrenceville, or Cambridge sites as well.

Duration: 12 months

This role is 50% onsite (Hybrid)

We seek a talented, collaborative inter-disciplinary computational scientist to work on the analysis, statistical modeling and generation of hypotheses from high-dimensional molecular profiling data.

The candidate will have the opportunity to work with clinical and large-scale omics data and biomarker data sets that could include WES, RNA- Seq, scRNAseq and ChIP- oncology studies. This position offers the exciting opportunity to make contributions to scientific knowledge of cancer disease biology, and to directly impact treatment of cancer patients.

Required

• Ph.D. (or M.S. with 2 years) of experience in computational biology, bioinformatics, statistics or related fields.
• Strong experience in the use of a high-level programming language such as R, MATLAB, Python or Perl for complex data analysis and reproducible research practices is a must.
• Experience working with Next Generation Sequencing datasets, including RNAseq, scRNAseq, Whole-Genome, Whole-Exome Sequencing and ChipSeq.
• Familiarity with contemporary cloud and high-performance computing environments.
• Expertise working with clinical datasets.
• Expertise in application of contemporary machine-learning/AI approaches.
• Problem-solving and collaboration skills, rigorous and creative thinking.
• Communication, data presentation, and visualization skills.
• Fluent written and verbal English language communication.
• Relevant biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.

Pay: Up to $55.00 per hour
