Education/Training: B.S. preferred
3 years’ experience in IT
2 years’ experience in developing and supporting COBOL and JCL programs in an IBM Mainframe environment
Ability to support 2 or more technical areas.
Incident and problem management experience
Excellent support documentation writing skills
Strong analytical and communication skills
Good listening and verbal communication skills
Cobol Program Development experience in an IBM Mainframe Environment
Strong experience developing software in a CICS environment (online and batch)
Strong experience writing JCL in an IBM Mainframe Environment
Strong experience using TSO
Experience developing software using VSAM files and detailed understanding of how VSAM indexing works.
