The Team

The Appian Production Support team focuses on the triage, analysis, and workarounds for issues reported against production systems. The Appian Production Support team is responsible for all production code and data.

The Work

As a member of the Appian Production Support team, you will be responsible for initial triage of reported issues escalated to IT by business and customer service managers, classifying the priority and severity of the issue and identifying next steps. You will be responsible for analysis of Appian, SQL, and Integration implementations throughout the production systems, identifying issues and gaps, and writing detailed analysis of the code and scenarios causing the reported behavior. You will be responsible for building ad-hoc reports and scripts in SQL to identify impacted populations and correct data relating to issues and gaps. You will be responsible for severity incident responses for critical business and system processes, relaying the overall impact and path forward to IT and business personas. You will be responsible for working with the business and IT teams to communicate findings, code nuances, and recreation steps for issues identified in the Production systems.

Required Skills

· 5 years of IT Experience

· 4 years of recent hands-on experience with Appian BPM

· 4 years of recent hands-on experience with SQL

· 3 years of experience supporting production systems

· 3 years of experience in all phases of software development for large-scale business-critical applications following Agile methodologies.

· 3 years of experience in the design and implementation of SOAP and REST Web Service.

· 1 year of experience working with users to gather and refine requirements.

Preferred Skills

· Certified Appian Level 1 Developer (Certified Associate Developer).

· Certified Level 2 Appian Developer or Certified Level 3 Appian Developer

· Experience working with Appian Tempo.

· Recent work experience on a software development project in a Federal government setting.

· Experience defining and documenting architecture for technology implementations leveraging different architectural views.

· Experience working with Appian Sites.

· Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations.

· Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.

· Excellent analytical and technical skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
