Essential Functions: 

• Obtains work order from assigned bin and determines processing procedure. 
• Thoroughly reads work order and follows any special customer requirements.
• Uses RF scan gun or computer depending on customer requirements.
• Gathers the correct material needed to complete orders.
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of material parts, color, and sizes.
• Ensures that orders are completed timely. 
• Provides completed orders to supervisor for shipping. 
• Informs supervisor of any discrepancies and/or of missing or defective material.
• Keeps area clean and tidy daily.

 Additional Responsibilities: 

Perform additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, & Capabilities: 

• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of materials, production processes, quality control, and completion of training. 
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.
• Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic Packaging skills such as using hand tools, tape machine, and packaging materials.
• Ability to grasp material with fingers while measuring to required specification and cutting with heat.
• Ability to stand for sustained periods of time.
• Visual acuity to examine or inspect material.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for sustained periods of time.
• Applying constant pressure to material with fingers and palm.
• Making substantial movements/motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Occasionally lifting and/or moving spools/material weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Sharp vision required.

Work Environment:

• Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
• Noise level is usually moderate to high.

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

 Experience:

 At least 1 years’ experience related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
