What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at Techline, Inc.?
Techline Pipe is seeking a Driver to work in the Montgomery, TX branch. This position will be responsible for safely delivering material, tracking warehouse inventory, loading/unloading deliveries, and more. A Class A Commercial Driver's License is not required for this position, and neither is an air brake endorsement.
Driving territory is local in Montgomery, TX, which allows you to be home nights and weekends.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivery of material in company vehicle
- Operation of an F-750 stake bed commercial vehicle
- Operation of an F-550 with a 40-foot gooseneck trailer (with a valid Class A CDL)
- Assist in warehouse when not delivering
Skills and abilities:
- Able to work in a warehouse environment, adapting to seasonal temperature changes and inclement weather
- Able to meet physical requirements. Actions include but are not limited to, standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, cutting wire, lifting 70 pounds, and more.
Requirements:
- At least one year driving experience required
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test
- Must have a valid driver's license
