Technica LLC is seeking to hire a Project Supervisor on a Government contract with a place of performance in Barstow, CA.
Position Responsibilities :
The Project Supervisor performs all functions at a supervisor level, ensure a safe a hostile free work environment, Upholds and maintains the highest ethical and personal standard, holds themselves and employees accountable for work ethic and workflow.
The Project Supervisor is responsible for the planning and scheduling of all work activities and functions daily. The Project Supervisor trains and mentors employees to enhance the performance of through a collaborative leadership style.
This position accomplishes this with a thorough knowledge of USARC and Army AR's and work instructions applicable to the job being performed.
The work is performed both indoors and outdoors. Supervisor may be in situations where operating equipment is necessary
Essential Duties
- Has thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes
- Has some authority for personnel actions
- Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group / small department
- Supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs
- Implements operational policies and procedures
- Determines workflow and scheduling
- Supervises the daily activities of an operations unit
- Knowledge of USARC regulations and procedures
- Knowledge of Storage functions
- Able to communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Able to use G-CSSA
- Able to utilize various government information systems.
- Able to manage multiple deadline and priorities
- Manage limited resources to meet customer needs
- Able to communicate through email to customers
- Knowledge of warehouse functions
- Operational Knowledge of military equipment
- Manage scheduling of incoming / outgoing equipment for storage
- Manage scheduling of inventories
Minimum Requirements :
- Must have GCSS-Army experience.
- Must have at least 3 years of related experience.
- Must have a class A driver's license. Or able to obtain class A in three months after employment.
- Must Demonstrate a good working knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
- Valid state issued driver license.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to function with a basic level of English oral and written language skills.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions to include intense heat, heavy wind, blowing sand, heavy rain, sleet and snow.
- Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Able to pick up and move items within a 50 lbs. restriction with a frequent or constant lifting of 40 lbs.
- Climb in and out of military vehicles and related equipment.
- Capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Able to work past normal hours as mission dictates.
