Overview
TMR, Inc. seeks a Strategic Project Management Lead to support the Department of Interior (DOI), Planning and Performance Management Division (PPMD). This project provides comprehensive IT planning support for DOI, including all oversight functions as it relates to strategic planning, enterprise architecture, IT capital planning, investment/portfolio management and IT project/portfolio governance.
Responsibilities
Strategize and provide tactical support for schedules, budget, resources, etc for the following:
- Cloud Suitability and Readiness Evaluation
- Review DOI Application Portfolio and identify Cloud Ready services
- Determine common use cases to prioritize for Cloud Shared Services expansion
- Hosting Strategy Readiness
- Evaluate Major-Tiered Data Center Capabilities
- Perform GAP Analysis
- Develop plans to address identified gaps
- Major-Tiered Data Center Shared Services Planning
- Capture Enterprise Requirements
- Service Readiness and Implementation Planning
- Cloud Shared Services Planning
- Capture Enterprise Requirements
- Service Readiness and Implementation Planning
- Data Center and Cloud Migration Planning
- Planning for migration of services to Major-Tiered Data Centers
- Planning for migration of services to Cloud Shared Services
- Central IT Business Services
- Capture Enterprise Requirements
- Strategy Development and Implementation Planning
- Implementation Oversight
Qualifications
- 5 YEARS RELEVANT SUPPORT EXPERIENCE WITH CLOUD, CLOUD HOSTING, AND SHARED SERVICES ENVIRONMENTS
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, PARTICULARLY DOI
- UNIVERSITY DEGREE IN TECHNOLOGY OR BUSINESS ORIENTED DISCIPLINE
