CDL A Test Driver

TPG is currently seeking safe and dependable CDL A Drivers for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift needs in Greensboro, NC area. Successful candidates will test drive and evaluate pre-production test vehicles on 'real world' durability test routes/tracks, conduct safety inspections, perform specialized test procedures and mileage accumulation, and document findings on driver report clearly and concisely.

Since we see fluctuation throughout the year, we are seeking individuals with flexible schedules and the ability to work more hours during peak testing needs. These roles are for individuals who are looking to supplement their income. Those who are interested in participating as a long-term full-time CDL A Driver, who meet the requirements, are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Able to operate commercial vehicles in a variety of testing and road conditions.
• May be required to support with instrumenting the trucks, and data collection.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems is a plus

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating a commercial vehicle
• Must have a clean DMV motor vehicle record
• Valid Class A CDL required
• Current Medical Examiner's Certificate
• Ability to use an electronic logging device (ELD) to track hours of service
• Must have basic PC skills
• Must be willing to travel
• Strong understanding of truck functions and features
• Excellent hourly pay and weekly pay!

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Able to lift 50 LBS
• Bending, Twisting, be able to squat
• Quick reaction during dynamic driving test
• Prolonged standing/sitting
• Be able to drive 8 hours a day
• Must maintain a Class A CDL

Important Items:

• Safety Sensitive position requiring all persons assigned to activity be drug-free and able to pass a drug screen successfully.
