Job Summary/Objectives
The Test Technician is a member of the Manufacturing Team; they will test, tune, and troubleshoot our RF Microwave products to ensure they achieve the product design specifications.
What Your Weeks Will Look Like:
You will:
Set up and calibrate the various pieces of equipment used to validate our products performance
Test, tune, and troubleshoot a variety of microwave products to achieve customer and design specifications
Record the test data, and sign documentation verifying that the unit is in compliance to the requirements
Other Aspects of the Position:
Identify manufacturing process and assembly details that effect performance of units
Support the company through participation of continuous improvement efforts
May occasionally need to travel to work with products in the field or at a supplier
The Skills You Need to be Successful:
Experience working with Vector Network Analyzers
Familiarity with passive RF Microwave component functions and terminology
Experience working with Military documentation
Demonstrate the ability to translate product knowledge into tuning techniques and approaches that have a positive impact on performance specifications while tuning and troubleshooting
Strong team contributor in a dynamic work flow environment with good time management skills
Strong hand eye coordination to handle blade and trimming circuits
Proven ability to work under a microscope
Beneficial if they are J-STD001 solder certified
Requirements
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
US Citizenship
3 years of experience in the RF Microwave or related industry
