Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and the RDC scheduler to agree on cost estimates and deadlines, and ensure that materials and resources are available to efficiently execute prototyping projects.
- Ensure that sufficient project preparations take place to ensure a clean start for every project.
- Ensure that sufficient health, safety, and environmental precautions and preparations take place for every project.
- Manage the status of many prototyping projects simultaneously using the RDC workflow and diligent communication with stakeholders.
- Continually review and identify critical path items, obstacles, and risks, and coordinate with various functions to mitigate impacts.
- Accommodate rapidly evolving project scopes while managing impacts to cost and schedule.
- Apply wise financial decision-making while managing projects and RDC operations.
- Purchase prototyping materials from vendors using the RDC prototyping purchasing process while in compliance with Global Operating Procedures for Sourcing & Procurement.
- Manage prototyping purchase orders by understanding lead time, tracking status, expediting, coordinating shipment, and ensuring timely payment.
- Work with the Sourcing & Procurement organization and the Non-Disclosure Agreement process to accommodate new prototyping vendors.
- Develop relationships with prototyping vendors and understand their performance, capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Provide support to vendors through communication with the prototyping project team.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities, and pursue cost savings opportunities.
- Take on stretch assignments to support various aspects of the RDC.
- Have an Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Operations, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience
- Have strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills in order to interact with a wide range of stakeholders including engineers, technicians, project managers, finance, sourcing & procurement, and vendors.
- Have the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines, and work independently with minimal direction. Are able to adapt to change in a complex, fast-paced environment, and use ingenuity to solve problems.
- Have a basic overview of manufacturing operations, quality control, procurement processes, and sales.
- Have strong computer skills including proficiency with common Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, etc.)
- Have the willingness to take on stretch assignments to fulfill team needs.
- Are comfortable leading in situations of ambiguity where there is little precedent or guidance.
- Are able to legally work and reside in the country, without sponsorship.
- Familiarity with the design, procurement, manufacturing, or field service of subsea oil & gas products.
- Ability to understand part drawings and common part requirements.
- Ability to navigate and comprehend BOM structures.
- Ability to understand functionality and application of components or assemblies to understand dependencies related to the role.
- Familiarity with shop equipment, shop tools, pressure testing, 3D printing, or mock-up fabrication.
- Experience with purchasing engineered-to-order components, assemblies, or services.
- Experience with production planning processes.
- Experience with supply chain management, supplier quality systems, or sourcing strategy.
- Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint workflows.
- Experience with advanced business software such as SAP, MES, Teamcenter, Ariba, Primavera, etc.

Office and shop environments. Fast-paced atmosphere with multiple priorities and constant change. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Mostly operates a computer in a hybrid working environment. Occasionally walks through the RDC shop are required. Occasionally movement of parts and equipment is required (<30 lbs).
