What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at TechnipFMC Careers?
You are meant for this job if:
- Gathering and analyzing data from SAP or other sources including payroll, cash, customer invoices, vendor invoices, and other accruals
- Preparing and entering journal entries including intercompany items that could require customer/vendor account entries, payroll and related accruals, other liabilities, and cash
- Performing general ledger account reconciliations and appropriate adjustments
- Provide data and support to outside property tax consultants to ensure accurate and timely returns are filed and appropriately recorded in ledger
- Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting and payments for company’s leases
- Other reporting and analysis as required to fully support the shared service entities and the company’s financial reporting requirements
- Reviewing and analyzing shared services processes to ensure compliance with company’s SOX and financial procedures while streamlining utilizing LEAN principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 8 years of Accounting experience in a face-paced environment.
- Shared services experience preferred but not required.
- Experience working with multiple companies and multiple currencies is a plus.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office- Intermediate Excel skills required.
- Experience using mid-level operating systems (e.g., Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP) is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with others both on-site and remotely including multiple time zones.
- Ability to meet multi deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
