Job Description
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits do the component level (resistor, capacitor, diode, IC etc.)
- Ensure that all installations, repair, calibrations and modifications to the electrical systems and components are carried out in accordance with company policies and regulatory laws.
- Maintain and repair electronic systems in relation to Surface equipment and drilling package instrumentation and electronics.
- Carry out installation, calibration and modification to electronic systems and components as per TFMC maintenance standards.
- Basic skills in soldering and assembling of electronic and electro/mechanical devices.
- Proficient in the use of multi-meters, meggers, testers, and other basic testing and troubleshooting instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
- General technical knowledge in fluid power technology, AC/DC circuits, and electro/mechanical devices.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years’ experience with electrical systems and maintenance
- Experience with PLCs, SCRs, and MCCs
- Self-driven, focused on customer service, with ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to travel to customer locations and perform work at off-site locations. Hours may vary based on customer demands, some overtime will be required.
- Valid driver’s license and must maintain satisfactory MVR in accordance with Company Fleet Policy
- Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English
- Demonstrates strong mechanical and technological aptitudes
- PC Skills with functional knowledge of MS Office products.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to optimize limited resources.
