Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Generative AI Engineer with 3-4 years of industry experience to lead our generative AI efforts and join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in generative AI and experience working with LLM (Large Language Models), and will possess excellent leadership skills. As a Generative AI Engineer, they would be responsible for designing and implementing state-of-the-art generative models, as well as leading and collaborating with our team to drive innovation and develop new solutions.

- Experience: 6-9 years
- Location: Remote, but must work during Central or Eastern Time
- Duration: 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead our generative AI efforts and take charge of the environment
- Design and implement state-of-the-art generative models
- Work collaboratively with our team to drive innovation and develop new solutions
- Build, tune, and scale ML models to meet business needs, specializing in NLP/NLU models
- Perform data analysis and create data visualizations and reports
- Productionize models developed, including refactoring Python code written on Jupyter Notebook to PySpark
- Develop AI and ML pipelines for continuous operation, feedback, and monitoring of ML models
- Optimize AI development environments (development, testing, production) for usability, reliability, and performance
- Build strong relationships with the infrastructure and application development team to understand the best method of integrating the ML model into enterprise applications
- Work with data engineers to ensure data storage (data warehouses or data lakes) and data pipelines fostering these repositories and the ML feature or data stores are working as intended
- Evaluate open-source and AI/ML platforms and tools for feasibility of usage and integration from an infrastructure perspective
- Stay updated about the newest developments, patches, and upgrades to the ML platforms in use by the data science teams
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience as a Generative AI Engineer
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques, particularly in the areas of generative models, natural language processing, and computer vision
- Familiarity with cloud computing and distributed systems, particularly Azure
- Experience with infrastructure provisioning and DevOps principles, whether they are related to infrastructure as code, microservices architecture, or CI/CD automation
- Ability to evaluate the performance and supervising characteristics of the ML model
- Familiarity with ML algorithms, AI use cases, and applications
- Knowledge of data engineering concepts, tools, and automation processes (DataOps)
Hourly salary range is anticipated to be between $125k - $155/hr. The compensation range reflects the Company’s reasonable expectations at the time of posting. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs.
