Privacy Analyst (Intermediate) (Remote)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare Privacy Threshold Analyses (PTA); System of Records Notices (SORN); Privacy Impact
  Assessments (PIA); and Privacy Act (PA) statements to analyze new or proposed changes to
  existing technology, sharing agreements, and programs to identify privacy risks and
  provide possible mitigation strategies;
• Perform assessments and analyses of projects and studies that require analysis of
  interrelated issues such as legal compliance, policy compliance, and regulatory
  compliance;
• Gather all relevant information concerning systems collecting personally identifiable
  information by program offices to determine which compliance
  documentation is required;
• Coordinate efforts of program offices, project managers, and staff to complete
  privacy-related assessments, analyses, and other related projects;
• Participate in review meetings and analyze documents and other materials during the
  privacy compliance reviews;
• Draft and edit documentation such as project plans, reports, analyses, and other types of documentation

Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 
• Position requires minimum 2 years experience
•  PTA, PIA, SORN knowledge/experience preferred
• CIPP, CIPP/G or other designation from the International Institute of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) preferred
• Must be able to meet all security eligibility requirements set by Government agencies
• Position located in Washington, DC.
