Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare Privacy Threshold Analyses (PTA); System of Records Notices (SORN); Privacy Impact
Assessments (PIA); and Privacy Act (PA) statements to analyze new or proposed changes to
existing technology, sharing agreements, and programs to identify privacy risks and
provide possible mitigation strategies; - Perform assessments and analyses of projects and studies that require analysis of
interrelated issues such as legal compliance, policy compliance, and regulatory
compliance; - Gather all relevant information concerning systems collecting personally identifiable
information by program offices to determine which compliance
documentation is required; - Coordinate efforts of program offices, project managers, and staff to complete
privacy-related assessments, analyses, and other related projects; - Participate in review meetings and analyze documents and other materials during the
privacy compliance reviews; - Draft and edit documentation such as project plans, reports, analyses, and other types of documentation
Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree required;
- Position requires minimum 2 years experience
- PTA, PIA, SORN knowledge/experience preferred
- CIPP, CIPP/G or other designation from the International Institute of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) preferred
- Must be able to meet all security eligibility requirements set by Government agencies
- Position located in Washington, DC.
