Social Media Video Editor

Jessica Naziri is a tech and lifestyle creator and looking for a videographer. This person will take part in all aspects of the video production process with an emphasis on editing for TikTok and YouTube. If you enjoy the video creation process and possess a strong creative sensibility love tech this is the perfect place for you.

Responsibilities:

• Help manage the daily output of Jessica Naziri’s video content on TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc.

• Create, collect, and edit assets for each project

• Identify trending or shareable soundbites

• Craft social copy for videos cross platform

• Identify viral and emerging stories/trends. Provide insight for clever angles, second beats and shareable headlines

• Brainstorm cutdowns of current content

• Keep up to date on industry trends/productions methods/social strategies

• Juggle multiple projects

• Participate in planning and creation of content for all social media platforms

• Edit YouTube Style videos

• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Experience Preferred:

• 1 year of editing/production experience preferred.

• Experience editing on/for Social Media Platforms emphasis on TikTok

• Knowledge of inner workings of each social platform or willingness to take it on

• Knowledge of video and audio file types and codecs

• Interest in social media, apps and gadgets

• Demonstrable experience identifying shareable/viral content: pop culture expert fluent in what's trending and always plugged in to latest conversations

• Excellent writing skills and a sharp wit - quick with a brand-appropriate Twitter copy or pop culturally relevant Instagram caption that aligns with the Jessica Naziri voice

• Effective communication skills

• Excellent organization and time management skills with initiative

• A blend of collaborative skills as well as being an independent self-starter

• Flexible and has ability to shift gears quickly between multiple campaigns and projects managed

• Ability to create and maintain positive, productive relationships with both internal and external groups

• Cool under pressure and a pleasant while professional demeanor, both in the office and when interacting with talent for celebrity social activations on-location when assigned

• A good eye for content composition, either self-generated/created or professionally sourced

• Possess working knowledge of basic video editing functions

• Must love pop culture and all things lifestyle and tech

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Work Location: One location
