Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Senior UX Designer to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience of our digital products. As a UX Developer, you will collaborate closely with designers, developers, and product managers to translate user-centric designs into seamless and intuitive user interfaces. Your expertise in front-end development and user experience design will be essential in creating visually appealing and highly functional web and mobile applications.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements, business goals, and design specifications.
- Translate wireframes and design mockups into interactive and responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Implement smooth and visually engaging user interactions by incorporating animations, transitions, and other dynamic elements.
- Ensure seamless integration with backend systems, APIs, and databases, while maintaining a high level of performance and responsiveness.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve UI/UX issues and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a smooth user experience even on devices with varying screen sizes and network conditions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design and front-end development.
- Collaborate with designers to provide technical insights and feasibility assessments during the design process.
- Participate in design and code reviews, offering constructive feedback to enhance the overall quality of the product.
- Continuously iterate on user interface designs based on user feedback and usability testing results.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and UI component libraries.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Proven experience as a front-end developer with a strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI projects.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience collaborating with designers, understanding design principles, and turning designs into functional code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when it comes to UI/UX issues.
- Knowledge of usability principles and best practices in user-centered design.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern development workflows.
- Solid understanding of browser behavior and compatibility, including mobile browsers.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Up-to-date with the latest design trends, UI guidelines, and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar.
- Basic understanding of back-end development and APIs.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and designing for diverse user needs.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal coding projects related to UI/UX.
