What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Process Manager position at Techveda Inc?
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for developing and managing the ongoing quality control processes of manufactured and serviced tooling
· Develop and implement quality processes and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analytics
· Develop and implement production processes when and where needed using statistical analytics to maintain consistent work flow
· Collaborate with internal department managers to ensure quality standards are in place and are being properly executed nationally
· May be required to communicate quality briefings to customers
· Manage product returns relating to quality; Review RGA log on a weekly basis to determine trends and develop improvement plans for identified problem areas
· Manage, train, and drive the use of CAR / PAR system; Determine root cause for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications and implement effective corrective action as needed
· Oversee any and all activity related to ISO platform adherence
· Evaluate and communicate trends and issues to management
· Oversee and manage calibration of inspection equipment (machinery, gauges, etc.)
· Oversee, train, QC inspection processes throughout our national division’s
· Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (work instructions) are implemented and documented nationally
Qualifications:
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Strong understanding of machining fundamentals and shop best practices
· Excellent customer verbal and written communication skills
· Strong understanding of ISO standards
· Ability to work across several departments and provide workable solutions amongst diverse teams
· 3 years’ experience in quality control - Preferably mechanical inclined
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $54,036.67 - $136,524.65 per year
