POSITION SUMMARY

The role requires the above to be accomplished within
Tecomet’s
principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics. Under the direction of the Quality Manager, maintains the Quality system as directed. Main responsibility for the Quality Inspector is the successful development of quality inspection processes. Timing and prioritization of tasks are provided by the Quality Manager, but detailed guidance is not needed.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Knows and follows all safety requirements
Fully understand the
Tecomet
inspection processes
Comfortable with and good at using a variety of precision measurement instruments and electronic devices
Recommend measurement methods
Good at blueprint reading and GD&T callouts
- Ability to apply intermediate math skills and concepts
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent data entry skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and exercise judgment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.

Calipers
- Drop Indicators
- Manufacturing Experience
