What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Ted's Cafe Escondido?
Responsibilities:
- To ensure that Ted’s standard of service is given to every guest, every time
- Anticipate the guests needs
- To have full knowledge of all four host positions
- Communicate with management on large parties and quote times
- Greet guests with friendly smiles and enthusiasm
Work Conditions:
- Involved with guests and staff under all conditions and circumstances
- Varied working hours may include weekends, holidays, late evenings, and early mornings as needed
- Must be able to stand and/or walk 8 hours daily
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. frequently
- Frequent bending, reaching, grasping, and climbing
- Occasional squatting, kneeling, crawling, and fine manipulation
Compensation:
- $8.50 - $10 per hour
- Consistent, high volume restaurant
- Quick table turns
