Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 25 years or older Childcare Assiatant to join our team. As a Childcare Assiatant, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. Your role will involve providing age-appropriate activities, supervising playtime, assisting with meals and snacks, and ensuring the overall well-being of the children.
Responsibilities:
- Engage children in educational and recreational activities
- Create a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise children during playtime and outdoor activities
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Change diapers and assist with potty training
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting (e.g., daycare, preschool, nanny)
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong understanding of age-appropriate activities for children
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- CPR and First Aid certification -mandatory
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
-Can obtain ackground clearance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per week
