Lumber Yard Operations - Driver / Fork-Op

Tedford’s is a growing company and we are looking for a full-time driver / fork-op. This role requires great customer service, a positive attitude, and strong work ethic. Although experience is important, having a good attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the company is who we will hire.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Building lumber loads.
  • Delivering lumber loads.
  • Help where needed when in lumber yard.
  • Follow all safety protocol assigned by the company.

Job Requirements:

  • Positive Attitude #1.
  • 1 Years of driver / forklift experience preferred.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
  • Clean motor vehicle record/DOT record.
  • Basic math skills.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move weights of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to drive and work in all climates.
  • Ability to climb in and out of truck and on and off of forklift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
