TEEMA is Hiring a Internal Auditor to join one of our expanding clients team!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting with development and execute an annual and interim audit plan including scheduling, project management, workpaper review, coordination, and report review.
- Submits timely and objective audit reports to the Director of Finance for review. Such reports should be concise, fair, accurate and well written, and contain strong recommendations to strengthen internal controls and to comply with established company policies, procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
- Establishes & enhances financial internal controls
- Plans and performs robust risk-based audits, internal and external
- Oversees follow-up audit activities performed by others to evaluate the sufficiency and timeliness of management responses and corrective action taken in response to audit recommendations.
- Prepares and delivers audit packages for distribution.
- Manages business relationships to maintain an awareness of changes to business risk profiles, and to educate and promote awareness of controls and accountability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minimum of 3 years of Public Accounting or 5 years of Internal Audit corporate experience, or a combination of the two.
