Position Overview:
Our Client is seeking highly motivated, energetic, dependable, and experienced Operations Technicians to join their production team.
Successful candidates will be responsible for properly operating and maintaining various machines to ensure continual high quality production and safety standards.
This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow strict procedures, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Will consider only candidates who have a great attitude, are competent and have a willingness to learn, are mechnically inclined, and desire longevity and growth with an employer.
ATTENDANCE and BEING ON TIME is of the utmost importance for this role within the organization!
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machines properly, making appropriate adjustments and repairs to ensure product specifications are met.
- Understand and adhere to all safety standards at all times and all phases of operation.
- Have basic math skills and understanding of measuring systems.
- Possess physical stamina with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods of time.
- Detail-oriented Team player with good organizational skills.
- Perform all work in accordance with established Safety and Quality guidelines.
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs as required.
- Complete quality audit checks on in-process and finished goods to maintain accountability of product requirements.
- Willingness to work shifts including nights, weekends, holidays as required by shift rotation schedules.
- Must own or purchase tools within 90 days.
- Responsible for housekeeping details.
- Follow all company policies regarding safety protocols, report any potential hazards or accidents immediately, and understand procedures for building evacuation.
Qualifications:
- College or Trade School preferred, minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Technical Certifications, Welding, Forklift, Manufacturing backgrounds favorable.
Client Benefits:
