Production Assistant

Job Summary:

Tees and More LLC is currently looking for a Production Assistant with knowledge of Screen Printing and Embroidery operations. Responsibilities:

• Reports to both the Screen Print and Embroidery Operators
• Examine work orders to determine estimated printing times, ink, and material quantities.
• Receive work order jobs for Screen Printing
• Assist the Screen Print production team with setting up and cleaning screens
• Drying, folding, and packing completed articles after the run
• Place garments in the dryer. Remove garments from dryer, sort, count and package finished product
• Monitor quality continually and make adjustments to meet standards and salvage products whenever possible.
• Tears down presses and prepares for next run
• Reclaim and store screens
• Clean and steam garments coming off the Embroidery Machine
• Fold and box embroidery garments

Required Skills/Abilities:

• A thorough understanding and working knowledge of production workflow and scheduling
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, setting priorities and managing time effectively
• Keen attention to detail
• Able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to follow, understand and execute direction as given to you by your team members and managers

Education and Experience:

• 2-3 years of Silk Screen Print shop experience (Required)
• High school or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to carry/lift at least 50 lbs.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Silk Screen Print: 2 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Salary : $16 - $20
